Pakal is a free mobile arcade game designed by Alessandro Ornano and released in 2016.
Story
K’inich Janaab Pakal (March, 603 – August, 683)was ajaw (“lord”, “ruler”, “king” or “leader”)of the Maya city-state of Palenque in the Late Classic period of pre-ColumbianMesoamerican chronology. According to the book by Erich von Däniken ‘s ” Maya Astronaut” in the book there is a description of the Pacal tomb’s where there is reproduced a drawing of the sarcophagus lid, interpreting drawings underneath him as rockets, and offering it as possible evidence of an extraterrestrial influence on the ancient Maya.

In 1899 Nicola Tesla detected an intelligent radio transmission from outer space.
In 1960 NORAD located the source of trasmission in polar orbit. The object dubbed “BLACK KNIGHT” with a mass of 15 metric tons stay for three weeks and disappears.
This game tells the story of Pacal , the astronaut of the ” black knight satellite” that travels to the discovery of other planets , and his function is to protect the planet earth and map the alien planet’s surface visited avoiding enemy attacks.
Gameplay
The game features different planets to visit arranged in a growing difficulty. In fact, subsequent to the first planets can be visited only upon reaching of a minimum number of gold leaves.
Each planet is divided into different areas each offering 3 leaves of gold if you complete all the objectives of the area (complete the minimum detection rate of the area of land, destroy all enemies, destroy all the bases and obstructions).
To go to the next area you must end the current region. The purpose of the game is to cut most possible area of sections avoiding the enemies hit your ship or cross the line that Pakal spacecraft track to cut that part of the route, all within a set time early in the game.
Reached a percentage marked on the map at the top right with the finish area will be completed and you can view a photo of the discovered territory.
The game give 5 lives to the player. If all lives are exhausted an advertising videos give you a chance to get back all lives. By purchasing the package “World 1, 2 and 3” you will have unlimited lives, no advertising in the game, all the three worlds and the inland areas are unlocked and made playable immediately.
Structure
Pakal stars with a banner ad but if you make a purchase the banner and the video advertising disappear.
The home of the game shows the number of lives you have, the version of the current game and a graphic that shows the spacecraft that travels through the planets .

The main menu in version 1.x shows the 3 available planets, you can scroll the screen horizontally to see all available planets, the first is unlocked and playable , others are blocked and you can unlock them just playing and reaching the minimum number of golden leaves demanded by each planet.

The main menu consists of the items:

The help screen shows how to pilot your spacecraft Pakal in the game.
The achievements page displays all of the medals conquered or yet to win, those conquered will be illuminated .
The settings page contains the sliders to adjust the volume of music and sound and the buttons to restore in app purchases made previously and to reset all the progress achieved in the game by the player.
The information page on the game tells the story of K’inich Janaab Pakal and his spacecraft through slides in chronological order .
The shop page contains a button for buying the Worlds 1 , 2 and 3 unlocked , infinite lives , and no advertising.
When a world is selected opens a page for the selection of the playing area . Usually play areas are 15 , in the free version are blocked and you must unlock the current one in order to access the next area . With the purchase of the bundle in the shop “World 1, 2 and 3” all areas will be accessible without any blocking.
